What can I expect on my first session?

You set the pace that feels comfortable for you. In our first session, I’ll guide the conversation based on what you’d like therapy to look like. I may also ask you to expand on some of the responses you shared in your intake forms to help us better understand where to begin.

How long are sessions?

Sessions typically last almost an hour, but I understand that not everyone can be fully present for that length of time. If that’s the case, we can collaborate to find a session duration that better fits your needs and capacity.

What happens if I don’t have insurance?

I’m currently working towards accepting insurance and hope to have an update in the coming months. At this time, I don’t offer a sliding scale, but I do have a flat therapy rate that’s comparable to other self-care services.
